The Johnsons Buildbase Select Kitchen Showroom has over 40 fully tiled room settings. An informal seating area has been created where customers can relax while they choose from hundreds of door panel samples, and as many handles. Another new feature is the ‘gadget kitchen’ which shows all the latest in practicality and space-saving ideas.

Units look modern in cool, pale colours with matt or gloss finishes, complemented by simple brushed steel handles and splashbacks. Warmer timber finishes in beautiful cherry or light waxed pine may be more suited to rural properties. Worktops feature solid slabs of marble with shimmering quartz highlights and wall tiles come in rainbow ceramic colours with practical floor tiles in natural stone shades. For those who love cooking, hobs have been replaced by the range style cookers that have six large burners on top and up to four ovens below.

To keep clutter down to a minimum many appliances are integrated within kitchen units, employing names like Neff, Smeg and Miele.

Staff will employ the latest computer aided design to plan kitchens that are bespoke for each customer.
